Mark & George are announcing several changes at WebbPaton. After over 30 years working happily and successfully together we are restructuring the way we do things.
George is setting up a new business trading as Paton5 Ltd based near Oxford. We are inviting all of the clients who have instructed us on larger potential development sites to transfer their instructions to Paton5 Ltd.
Mark is continuing the WebbPaton business and is delighted that Libby Barron, Becky Farthing, Helen Wiltshire and George King will all become equity partners with him. We will also change our trading style to become WebbPaton LLP and will invite all of our clients to transfer all of their instructions – except those going to Paton5 Ltd – to WebbPaton LLP.
Pippa Wildern, Pippa Glanville and the whole of our support team will transfer to WebbPaton LLP, and we will continue to be based at The Dairy.
We plan that the two businesses will work closely together and we have a number of mutual arrangements. We have been business partners for 24 years and continue to be friends – but we are both getting older and believe that now is the time to move ahead with our succession plan.
Normally we write to you about your business, rather than ours. We are absolutely aware that this topic has only arisen due to your continued support and instructions which we very much appreciate. We both hope that you will continue to support both businesses.
