George is originally from the town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire. He attended the Royal Agricultural University in 2013, where he later graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Land Management in 2016. After joining WebbPaton, George qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2019, a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2021 and an Associate of the Society of Agriculture in 2022. He became a partner of WebbPaton LLP in 2023. George has specialised in renewable energy scheme negotiations since 2020 and has successfully negotiated over fifty schemes across the country for Landowners, totalling in excess of 500MW. George is also involved in a variety of other rural professional work including property transactions, valuations, environmental schemes, compensation negotiations and tenancy matters.
In his spare time, George enjoys skiing, countryside pursuits and going for long pub walks with his dog Willow.
