The application window for the Small Grant Scheme has been delayed until late Spring. With ongoing technical issues still being identified from the first round of applications submitted last year, changes by the RPA continue to be made in an effort to simplify the scheme for 2019.

Funding looks to be the same this year with an overall budget of £30 million committed by the Government.  An application requires a minimum spend of £3,000 and up to a maximum of £12,000, with up to 40% of the eligible costs funded within your application.  Items available include but are not limited to:

  • Rotating Cow Brush
  • Auto Calf Feeder with Washing Facility
  • Sheep Electronic Weigh Scales
  • Pasture Plate Meter (Hand-held)
  • GPS for Precision farming
  • Electric Scraper Systems

Requirements of this scheme have proved very difficult resulting in many applications being rejected in 2018. If you are interested in applying please ring WebbPaton to avoid missing out on available funding.  You can contact any of our team on 01793 842055, email or DM us on Messenger.
