WEBBPATON RIDGEWAY CHALLENGE

WebbPaton turns twenty years old on 2nd September 2019!

To mark this milestone the WebbPaton team intend to walk the 87 miles along the Ridgeway Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon to Overton Hill near Avebury. We will set out on Friday 27th September and plan to complete the trail on Monday 30th September.

We will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and The Farming Community Network. Both of these charities are close to the team, family and friends of WebbPaton.

Our charities

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times. They have a network of over 400 volunteers across England and Wales, many of whom are involved in farming, or have close links with agriculture, and therefore have a great understanding of the issues farm workers and farming families regularly face.

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. One in two people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Macmillan Cancer Support aims to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. Life with cancer is still life, and Macmillan helps people continue to live it as normally as possible.
